Canada Version
This page is about Series 2 Haflingers with specification for the Canadian market. It is likely, that before the "Pathfinder" model was introduced in 1971,
Haflingers with the specification shown here were also sold in USA. However even after introduction of the Pathfinder model, Haflingers with Canadian specification were produced in 1971.

Diese Seite beschäftigt sich mit Serie 2 Haflingern in der Ausführung für den Kanadischen Markt. Vor der Einführung des "Pathfinder"-Modells
wurden Haflinger in dieser Ausführung aber wahrscheinlich auch in den Vereinigten Staaten verkauft. Jedenfalls wurden die Haflinger in der gezeigten Version auch noch nach Aufkommen der Pathfinder-Ausführung

The Canada Version (and/or early US-Version) has the large 7'' Sealed Beam headlights and special rear lights, but it does not have the "Pathfinder" plate and Lucas Side Markers. Here you see a very basic
version without any hoodsticks and "side rails" instead of real boards. Picture: Archive Dr. Rudolf.
Die Kanada-Version (bzw. frühe US-Version) hat die großen 7 Inch Sealed Beam Scheinwerfer (also Reflektor und Glas in einer Einheit), die in den Nordamerika vorgeschrieben waren, sowie spezielle
Rückleuchten. Jedoch hat diese Version kein "Pathfinder" Schild und keine Seitenmarkierungsleuchten. Abgebildet ist eine Grundausführung ohne Verdeck und mit "Galerie"

This is a very original Canada Version Haflinger in nice condition. Note also the tail lights.
Ein wunderschöner, originaler Kanadischer Haflinger in super Zusand. Man beachte wiederum auch die Rücklichter.

Here you see a close-up shot of the rear lights. The special vertical sheet metal construction looks different compared to the Pathfinder version and has no red side marker light.
Das spezielle Halteblech für die Rückleuchten sieht etwas anders aus als beim "Pathfinder", der außerdem noch Seitenmarkierungsleuchten hat.

I will send you photos of my North American model Haflinger Bj '71 showing the rear lamp arrangement. Would you care for photos of any other details?
Also I need an oval style muffler for my Hafi if you know of any available for less than ridiculous price.
